DNK International A man holding a Bible caused a brief security scare after charging towards President William Ruto while he was addressing a gathering in Bamba, Kilifi County.
The incident occurred during a thanksgiving service for Youth Affairs Principal Secretary Fikirini Jacobs.
Witnesses said the man moved towards the dais as the President was speaking, prompting security officers to quickly intervene. However, President Ruto stepped in and instructed his security team not to harass or mishandle the man.
The dramatic scene has since sparked debate across social media, with many Kenyans questioning the state of the President’s security and the alertness of officers assigned to protect him.
