BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY:Mathew 6:13

By Pastor Vincent Roy Agoya

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”- Mathew 6:13

We often treat temptation like a sudden accident, but spiritual warfare is entirely predictable.

Jesus closes His blueprint for prayer by reminding us that we walk through a spiritual mine field every day. The enemy doesn’t just want you to make a mistake; he sets subtle traps to hijack your character, your relationships, and your peace. This prayer isn’t about hiding in fear; it’s a strategic, preemptive strike.

By asking for deliverance before the day throws its worst at you, you are acknowledging your own blind spots and leaning hard into God’s protective custody. You don’t have to navigate the enemy’s schemes in your own strength. God’s grace is your shield, and His Spirit is your guide. When you pray this, you are letting the enemy know that you are heavily defended.

Secure your perimeter. Before you check your notifications or start your routine, pray a hedge of protection over your mind and heart. Specifically, ask God to guard your feet from old traps—whether that’s anger, anxiety, or compromise. Walk out your door today knowing your Deliverer goes before you.
