DNK International The family of Sheikh Aadan Eeda has appealed to the government and security agencies to urgently search for him after he was allegedly abducted in Moyale on Monday evening.
According to eyewitnesses, unidentified individuals reportedly forced the sheikh into a vehicle before speeding away from the scene. His mobile phone and shoes were later recovered from the area where the alleged abduction is said to have taken place.
His whereabouts remain unknown, with family members expressing growing concern over his safety.
“We respectfully urge the relevant security agencies and authorities to act swiftly by conducting a thorough investigation, making every effort to locate Sheikh Aadan safely, and providing timely and accurate updates to his family and the public,” the family said in a statement.
The family also appealed to members of the public to keep Sheikh Aadan and his loved ones in their prayers, while urging people to share only verified information to avoid the spread of unconfirmed reports.
Authorities had not issued an official statement on the alleged abduction by the time of publication.
