Rev. Festus Mutuku of from ACK Dr Krapf Masinga and who was the guest speaker at the Open Air Mission 2026, has urged Christians in the country to seek salvation and embrace Christian values as a way of transforming their lives and the wider community.
Rev. Mutuku delivered the message during the end of a three-day Church crusade held at Kaseveni in Malaa,Machakos county on Sunday.
On his part Rev.Nickson Mutuku who is the head of St Mark’s Malaa Parish called on Christians to turn to God, saying faith and prayer could provide hope, restoration and deliverance from challenges affecting individuals and families.
Quoting Matthew 11:28, which states, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest,” Rev. Mutuku encouraged the community in Malaa and its environs to seek spiritual renewal and place their trust in God.
The crusade also focused on the youth, with prayers offered for young people to avoid drug abuse, alcoholism, thuggery and other behaviours described as harmful to individuals and society.
Members of the church and the local community attended the event, which featured prayers, preaching and salvation sessions aimed at strengthening the Christian faith and encouraging positive transformation among residents.
Rev. Mutuku urged the community to work together in supporting young people and promoting values that would contribute to a peaceful, responsible and God-fearing society.
