Ruthimitu Mixed Secondary school,Nairobi today held an event at a hotel in Kikuyu,Kiambu where the former school former Board of Management (BOM) led by the former Chairman Joseph Githinji were feted by the new board members led by Chairman John Mungai Nganga.
The event also saw the former school principal John Thairu who served as the board recognized by the new Secretary who is also the new school principal Patrick Mburu.
Mburu and Thairu swapped places where Mburu moved from Peter Kibukosya secondary school in Eastlands,Nairobi to Ruthimitu mixed secondary in Dagoretti South and Thairu replaced him at his old station.
Speakers at the event emphasized on the observance of discipline by students in order to succeed in their education and examinations.
