Love triangle turns deadly as two lovers stabbed to death in Obunga

A suspected love triangle ended in tragedy after a man allegedly caught his partner with another man “in action” and fatally stabbed both of them at Obunga estate in Kisumu County.

Police in Kisumu Central are investigating the incident which was first reported at Obunga Police Station in the wee hours of today.

According to the report made by landlord Benard Opiyo,he stated that one of his tenants, identified as Jalego Omondi, invited a woman friend known only as Trizer to his house.

It is alleged that the woman was also romantically linked to another man identified as Aboy.

The suspect reportedly stormed into the house and found the two together before attacking them with a knife.

Despite attempts to escape, both victims succumbed to multiple stab wounds outside the house at different locations.

Police officers from Obunga Police Station, alongside DCI officers from Kondele, visited and processed the scene.

The bodies of the deceased were moved to JOORTH Mortuary for preservation as investigations continue.
