Residents of Mwingi Central were shocked today morning after the remains of former People Daily photographer James Kaesa were discovered inside his house near Mutwangombe Shopping Centre.
According to sources, the deceased is suspected to have died more than a week ago before his remains were found.
Preliminary information indicates that only skeletal remains were found in the house, suggesting the body had been there for an extended period.
Police officers were yet to collect the remains at the time of reporting as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death continued.
The discovery has sparked concern among residents and former colleagues, with police expected to establish the cause of death through further investigations and forensic examinations.
