A man aged 46 has died after he allegedly got stuck while attempting to force his way through the report office grills at Kiambaa Police Post in Kiambu County.
The incident was reported in the wee hours of Sunday by police report office personnel.
Police identified the deceased as Joseph Kamau Wainaina from the area.
His sister, Nancy Wairimu Wainaina, told police that the deceased had a history of mental illness and had been experiencing difficulties for some time.
The OCS Karuri Police Station, duty officers, DCI Kiambaa officers and Crime Scene Investigation personnel visited the scene before the body was moved to Kiambu Level 5 Hospital mortuary pending an autopsy.
