Murang’a woman representative Betty Maina has reported a case of alleged harrasment through calls by unidentified person.
She has reported the matter at Ithanga Police Station in Murang’a County.
According to the police report filed filed yesterday night,the legislator stated that she has been receiving repeated phone calls from mobile number +25400XXXXXXX84 on diverse dates during May 2026.
In the complaint, the caller allegedly accused the legislator of involvement in the killing of three Gen Z youths and further claimed that she had donated motorcycles to needy persons before allegedly sending an agent identified as Felister to repossess them.
The complainant told police that the allegations are false and defamatory, adding that they are likely to damage her reputation within society.
