NAESI Partners mourns Burudi Nabwera

NAESI Partners in Kenya has joined the nation in mourning the death of former cabiner minister Burudi Nabwera.

They described him as a distinguished Kenyan leader and pioneer diplomat who served the country in various senior government and political positions.

In a condolence message,the organisation Coordinator Stephen K. Cheboi described Nabwera’s contribution to Kenya’s diplomacy, public service and politics as an important part of the country’s history.

Nabwera made history as Kenya’s first Permanent Representative to the United Nations and the country’s first Ambassador to the United States.

He also served as Minister of State in the Office of the President, Secretary-General of KANU and the first Member of Parliament for Lugari Constituency.

Cheboi, who also chairs the National Federation of Public Benefit Organisations (PBOs) in Kenya, extended condolences to Nabwera’s family, friends, colleagues and all Kenyans affected by his passing.

He said the late diplomat’s contribution to nation building would remain an important part of Kenya’s political and diplomatic heritage.

“May his soul rest in eternal peace,” Cheboi said in his message.
