An Editor at People Daily newspaper Derek Otieno has been bereaved.
Otieno who is also a member of DNK-International announced on his social media accounts that his eldest son Barrack Otieno died at KUTRRH where he was undergoing treatment.
According to the family Barrack was admitted to the hospital on April 17.
He was later transfered to the ICU for escalated treatment, staying two weeks in the Life Support Machine.
His condition took a turn on Saturday morning when he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Plans are currently underway to prepare for the burial in Malanga, Gem,Siaya County.
