The head of Crusaders For Christ Ministries Rev.Ndura Waruinge has urged Kenyans to shun violence ahead of 2027 general election.
Waruinge spoke on Sunday at Jacaranda Grounds,Nairobi during the Mfalme wa Amani Peace Foundation Caravan crusade under the theme #NapendaAmani whose initiative is aimed at promoting peace, unity, and harmony as the country approaches the electioneering period.

The event was also attended by Pastors from other Churches and featured prayers for the nation, a football tournament, and a music artists’ concert.
Religious leaders called on Kenyans to uphold peace and coexistence regardless of their political affiliations.
Addressing the crowd, Waruinge urged citizens to reject hooliganism, violence, and divisive politics, emphasizing the need for peaceful engagement during the electoral season.

During the football tournament in the women’s category, Mwangaza Queens defeated Soweto Elight Queens through a penalty shootout to emerge champions.
In the men’s category, Levites FC edged out Allstars FC on penalties to claim victory after a closely contested match.
Waruinge awarded winners with trophies and cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding performances, while reiterating the importance of sports and community activities in fostering peace and national cohesion.
