Toy Pistol Recovered as Police Arrest Suspect in Migori

Police officers in Migori County have recovered an imitation firearm and arrested a suspect following an operation conducted within the Migori–Ngege bypass area.

A team from the Migori County police Anti-Spiv Unit led by Edwin Nyabuto was acting on intelligence information when officers spotted a man carrying an object resembling a pistol tucked into his waist.

The officers immediately intercepted the suspect, identified as Justus Kirambo aged 25.

He was nabbed at Namba area where upon a search conduct on him led to the recovery of a toy pistol that closely resembled a real firearm and had been holstered on his waist.

He was arrested and escorted to Migori Police Station for further interrogation.

The recovered exhibit has been secured pending further investigations and action.
