An Administration Police (AP) officer attached to Ugunja Sub-County has been arrested in connection with the murder of his relative, a General Service Unit (GSU) officer.
Administration Police Constable Hezekiah Ojudi was arrested on Tuesday evening after investigations allegedly established that he is one of the principal suspects in the recent killing of his kin, Corporal Henry Okello Omondi Ojudi, who was previously attached to the GSU Headquarters.
Detectives say the arrest followed investigations that linked the officer to the murder.
He is currently in police custody as investigators continue with interrogations and process the case ahead of his arraignment in court.
