The North Eastern Regional Security Committee paid a courtesy visit to Lagdera Sub-County Headquarters and Modogashe Police Station in Garissa County today.
The high level delegation was led by Regional Commissioner John Otieno alongside the Regional Police Commander Pepita Ranka and the AP Regional Commander Abdi Armagnso.
The team made the brief stopover while en route to Wajir to attend a high security government function.
During their visit, the officials held a courtesy call at the Lagdera Sub-County headquarters and later proceeded to Modogashe Police Station where they interacted with officers.
The visit was described as significant for local security agencies as it provided an opportunity for senior regional security leadership to assess operations and engage officers on the ground.
After the brief engagement, the delegation departed Modogashe and continued with their journey to Wajir to attend the scheduled government event.
