Bishop (Apostle) John Kimani William is a renowned preacher, visionary leader, and founder of Kingdom Seekers Fellowship (KSF), one of the country’s fastest growing ministries.
He is also the founder and director of Missions to the Body of Christ International (MBCI), a global apostolic network committed to equipping church leaders and advancing kingdom transformation through conferences, media outreach, and strategic partnerships.
He was born and raised in Rurii, Ol Kalou, Nyandarua County.
Bishop Kimani’s life journey reflects resilience, faith, and an unwavering commitment to his divine calling.
Before entering full time ministry, he worked as a mason and later served as a prison warder in the Kenya Prisons Service.
During this period, he developed a strong passion for evangelism and Christian service.
His spiritual growth was further nurtured while serving with Neema Ministries in Nairobi, where he deepened his understanding of ministry and leadership.
In 2002, responding to what he describes as a clear call from God, Bishop Kimani resigned from the Kenya Prisons Service to dedicate himself fully to ministry.
During a talk with DNK-International,he said that he began by organizing lunchtime prayer meetings in a modest room near Nakuru’s main wholesale market.
What started as a small gathering soon attracted growing numbers of worshippers drawn by fervent prayer, prophetic ministry, and a strong emphasis on spiritual transformation.
Over the years, these humble beginnings have evolved into a significant national movement.
Today, Kingdom Seekers Fellowship operates more than 20 branches across Kenya.
Its headquarters in Nakuru, a 10,000-seat sanctuary, has become a prominent centre of worship, prayer, and community transformation, hosting thousands of congregants and major national events.
Widely recognized for his emphasis on prayer and intercession, Bishop Kimani has cultivated a culture of continuous prayer within the ministry.
Through regular and round the clock prayer initiatives, Kingdom Seekers Fellowship (KSF) has become a source of spiritual support for individuals seeking healing, restoration, employment opportunities, family reconciliation, and divine intervention in various aspects of life.
In 2015, he expanded the ministry’s outreach through the launch of MBCI TV and Radio, platforms that continue to broadcast messages of faith, worship, teaching, and prophetic ministry across Kenya and beyond.
The media ministry has significantly broadened the reach of the gospel and strengthened the ministry’s impact locally and internationally.
Bishop Kimani is also the visionary behind several notable national prayer initiatives, including the National Prayer Week and Heavens Gate Prayer Mountain.
These events attract thousands of believers annually, providing opportunities for collective prayer, spiritual renewal, revival, and national reflection.
Beyond the church, Bishop Kimani’s influence extends into social and national development.
His contribution to community transformation and spiritual leadership earned him the prestigious Head of State Commendation (HSC), awarded by the Government of Kenya in recognition of his service to society.
He is married to Rev. Naomi Kimani, his partner in ministry and a dedicated servant of the church.
