Busia County has lost two journalists within a span of two weeks, leaving colleagues in the media fraternity mourning the loss of experienced professionals.
Musa Radoli, who previously worked for the Daily Nation, Standard and People Daily newspapers, died following a road accident.
His death came shortly before the passing on of Noel Wandera, a business writer who also worked for the Standard and People Daily.
Wandera died at a Kisumu hospital on Tuesday, where he had been receiving treatment.
The deaths of the two journalists have been met with grief among their former colleagues and friends in the media industry, who described them as hardworking professionals who made significant contributions to journalism.
Colleagues said the services and contributions of Radoli and Wandera would be missed by many, as the media fraternity in Busia and beyond comes to terms with the loss of the two experienced journalists.
