Congolese national robbed USD15 000 other valuables in Kyuna

Police in Nairobi are investigating a house breaking stealing incident where a Congolese national lost USD 15 000 dollars and other valuables in Kyuna Nairobi.

The incident was reported at Spring Valley Police Station, where a gang of five men invaded the house of Katenoura Dollars Candy, a resident of Kyuna Crescent Garden.

He stated that the suspects, who were aboard a white motor vehicle registration number KDV 350H, gained entry into his compound at around 6:15pm.

The gang is said to have proceeded directly to his house, forcefully broke in, and made away with 15,000 US dollars in cash, jewellery of unknown value, and an iPhone estimated at KSh 100,000.

Police officers visited the scene, which was processed and documented by Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) personnel as investigations commenced.

The security guard manning the main gate at the time of the incident, identified as Patrick Musonyi, was arrested and is currently in custody undergoing interrogation to assist with investigations and possible prosecution.
