Senior security officials in Kiambu County have intensified preparations for the Thursday Gen-Z second anniversary following a strategic meeting with officers in Limuru Sub-County.
The meeting, held on Tuesday, was attended by County Police Commander Kennedy Osando, County Criminal Investigations Officer Tiberius Ekisa, and Administration Police County Commander Ismael Ahmed, who engaged Limuru senior officers on measures aimed at enhancing security and operational readiness.
Key issues discussed included proactive policing, early deployment of officers to strategic locations, sharing of available resources, teamwork, command responsibility and accountability, information sharing, riot management drills, and the lawful use of firearms.
The security chiefs underscored the importance of coordination, discipline, and professionalism in maintaining law and order while safeguarding lives and property during the planned demonstrations.
