Man Rescued From Mob After Alleged Bestiality Incident in Ruiru

A man is receiving treatment at Ruiru Level 4 Hospital after being rescued by police from an angry mob following an alleged bestiality incident in Kibendera area, Ruiru,Kiambu County.

According to police, the incident was reported at Mutonya Police Post under Gatong’ora Police Station today.

The complainant, identified as Josphat Kariuki, alleged that he found a man known to him, Michael Mwangi Ndungu, inside his homestead at around 4:00 a.m. engaging in an unnatural act with one of his sheep.

The complainant reportedly raised an alarm, attracting neighbours and members of the public who responded and attacked the suspect.

Police officers from Gatong’ora Police Station rushed to the scene and managed to rescue the suspect from the crowd.

Police said that the man had sustained serious injuries, including a fractured right leg and heavy bleeding.

He was subsequently escorted to Ruiru Level 4 Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment under police watch.

The sheep involved in the incident was secured by investigators and is being held at Mutonya Police Post as an exhibit pending further investigations.
