Police Nab Notorious ‘Men in Black’ Gang Suspects in Mau Narok Crackdown

Police officers in Mau Narok, Njoro,Nakuru county have arrested four suspects believed to be part of a notorious criminal gang linked to a string of robberies and burglaries in the area.

The arrests were made today during an early morning patrol conducted at around 3:00 a.m.

Police during the operation intercepted two primary suspects within Mau Narok trading centre.

The suspects were dentified as Samwel Njenga and Elijah Mwangi who were allegedly found armed with concealed machetes and daggers.

Police believe the duo are members of the feared gang locally known as “Men in Black,” which has been under investigation for a series of criminal activities in the region.

Acting on intelligence leads, officers extended the operation and recovered a range of suspected stolen property, including household goods and several electronic items.

The recovered items are currently being held for identification by members of the public who may have fallen victim to recent theft incidents.

In addition to the two main suspects, two other individuals,Godfrey Njuguna and John Ndung’u were arrested for allegedly handling the stolen goods.

All the four suspects were processed, searched, and placed in police custody.

Police have confirmed that the suspects are expected to be arraigned in court tomorrow (Tuesday) as investigations continue.

Police in the area have reaffirmed their commitment to intensified patrols and intelligence led operations aimed at dismantling criminal networks and enhancing public safety.
