Uchaguzi 2027/205 days:Adala thanks Orengo,opposition for maintaining peace at Raila’s anniversary

Westlands MP aspirant Moses Adala has praised Siaya Governor James Orengo and other opposition leaders among them Edwin Sifuna for helping maintain peace during the first anniversary commemoration of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga at Kang’o Ka Jaramogi, Siaya County last week.

Adala, who visited Orengo over the weekend at his Kisumu residence said the Governor and other opposition leaders thwarted alleged plans by hundreds of goons who had been mobilised by their opponents to disrupt the event.

Meanwhile, reports have indicated that Orengo is considering forming his own political party to pursue a presidential bid in 2027, potentially distancing himself from Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna’s Linda Mwananchi movement.
