BetPawa has officially launched its Locker Room Bonus (LRB) partnership with the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) National League for the 2026/27 season, committing Sh 17,358,400 to directly reward players and technical staff for every league match victory.
The partnership, unveiled during the current season’s playoffs at the Kasarani Indoor Arena on Sunday, reinforces betPawa’s commitment to supporting Kenyan sport by rewarding performance, promoting gender equality, and investing in the growth of local talent.
The betPawa KVF National League, Kenya’s premier volleyball competition, features 16 men’s teams and 12 women’s teams and serves as the country’s primary pathway for developing elite volleyball talent, including players who progress to the national teams such as the Malkia Strikers.
Under the Locker Room Bonus programme, all registered players and technical staff from participating teams,a total of 494 individuals will be onboarded onto the betPawa platform and fully verified.
After every league victory, each of the 16 team members (14 players and 2 technical staff) will receive a Sh 4,000 bonus, paid directly to their mobile money accounts.
Across the 213 matches scheduled for the 2026/27 season, betPawa will invest Sh 17,358,400 in performance bonuses.
A key feature of the initiative is betPawa’s commitment to equal investment in men’s and women’s volleyball.
Winning teams in both divisions will receive identical bonus payments, reflecting the company’s belief that male and female athletes deserve equal recognition and reward for their achievements.
Speaking during the
launch, Crispus Mogere, the Country Manager, reaffirmed that the partnership goes beyond financial support, aiming to motivate athletes, strengthen Kenyan volleyball, and create meaningful opportunities for players and technical staff across the country.
The Locker Room Bonus programme has been successfully implemented by betPawa in several African countries and has become a proven model for rewarding sporting excellence while supporting the sustainable growth of local leagues. Through this partnership, betPawa and the Kenya Volleyball Federation look forward to an exciting 2026/27 season that celebrates sporting excellence, inspires the next generation of athletes, and continues to elevate volleyball in Kenya.
