In our fast-paced world, we often seek peace through stability: a healthy bank account, a quiet home, or a predictable schedule. But “worldy” peace is fragile—it disappears the moment circumstances change.
Jesus offers something different. His peace isn’t the absence of trouble, but the presence of His Spirit in the midst of it. It is a gift already “left” for you, waiting to be claimed. While the world demands you earn your rest, Jesus grants it freely. When anxiety whispers of “what ifs,” His peace speaks of “even if.” Even if the storm rages, your anchor holds. Today, stop trying to manufacture calm and instead lean into the Comforter who has already overcome the world.
Identify one specific worry or fear weighing on you today. Consciously hand it over to God in prayer and ask Him to replace that tension with the supernatural peace promised in His Word.
