The Kenyan media fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the reported death of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) continuity announcer and journalist Edmond Salassya.
Salassya was known for his work behind the microphone at the state broadcaster, where he became a familiar voice to KBC audiences.
News of his death has elicited messages of condolence from colleagues, friends and members of the media fraternity, who have remembered him for his contribution to broadcasting.
