People’s voice:Ugandan businessman accuses Kenyan dealer of withholding phones worth Sh1.05 Million

Kampala:A Uganda based businessman, Ekaa Nelson, has accused a Kenyan electronics dealer of allegedly failing to deliver mobile phones worth Sh1,050,000 despite receiving full payment two weeks ago.

Nelson claims he paid the money to a businessman identified as Mohamud, who operates under the name Nova Electronics, but has yet to receive the phones or a refund.

According to Nelson, his attempts to reach Mohamud through mobile phone calls have been unsuccessful, with the dealer allegedly failing to answer his calls or respond to messages seeking an explanation.

Efforts by our reporter to contact Mohamud over the allegations were also unsuccessful, as he neither answered our calls nor responded to text messages sent to him.

Nelson says he is now considering reporting the matter to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Nairobi and Kampala to seek assistance in recovering either his money or the goods he paid for.
