A key suspect linked to Saturday attack on a school bus in Matungu,Kakamega county has been arrested.
According to police,an operation to arrest the suspect was conducted yesterday evening following investigations into the school bus attack.
Officers arrested Edward Oyayo, also known by the alias “Dust”, a resident of Mayoni Village, who is suspected of having organized and coordinated the incident.
The suspect is currently being held at Matungu Police Station pending his arraignment in court this morning.
Police said investigations are ongoing and that additional suspects believed to have been involved in the attack are being pursued.
