Wajir Law Court Finds Two Accused Guilty in Six Counts of Robbery with Violence

‎The Wajir Law Court has found John Mwaura Kimani and Muia Mutuku guilty on all six counts of robbery with violence.

‎The two faced six separate charges relating to alleged robberies targeting filling stations in Wajir County between September 2024 and March 2025.

‎According to the charge sheet, the alleged incidents involved Western Filling Station, Jabtech Filling Station, Marhaba Filling Station, Normak Filling Station and Shawwal Filling Station, with the amounts stolen ranging from Sh 35,000 to Sh 461,100.

‎The court heard that the accused, together with others, were armed with crude weapons including rungus, metal bars and hammers during the incidents.

‎The court on Tuesday, in its judgment, found the accused persons guilty on all six counts and scheduled their sentencing for August 21.
